This summer 2017 I moved to Brighton. Work was low and I was new in town so I went to bullion and scrap gold shop to cash in one a bit of gold I had at home. Walking back I saw a jewellery shop that had an advert in the window about jewellery making classes and I went inside to ask if they’d be keen to have CAD classes on offer for me to teach. The owner Julian said they’d just finished with teaching as they needed more workshop space but that he had a CAD job for me. I came in the next day and looked at his deign that was to cage 7 pearls with twisting interlocking parts to form a bracelet. Of course the deadline was tight but I had it all ready the next day and he managed to get the castings back in time and his customer was very pleased with the result as was he ( and myself ).
